INTRODUCTION

Usha Chavan Is An Indian Movie Actress From 1970s & 2000s. She Is A Noted Marathi As Well As Hindi Film Actress. Usha Chavan Has Done More Than 100 Movies. She Has Acted In With Famous Actor Dada Kondke In Many Of His Greatly Popular Marathi Movies. Usha Chavan Has Her Own Film Production House Named Abhinay Chitra, Which Has Produces Many Films & TV Serials.

In all, she has done more than 100 films out of which 80-90 movies were Golden n Silver Jubilee.
She has produced two Marathi films namely -"Gauracha-navara" & "Dhar - pakad" in 1990 and 1993 respectively.

Usha Chavan was married to Dattatray KaduDeshmukh, who was a landlord and owned more than 25 acres of land in Pune! The couple has one son named Hridaynath KaduDeshmukh.
Usha Chavan started her career before her marriage and hence the surname Chavan got famous. So everyone knows her with the name Usha Chavan. But her full name after marriage is Usha Chavan KaduDeshmukh.
Her family consists of her son Hridaynath, Daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons namely Rohit and Rohan. Her son Hridaynath is an entrepreneur and is the owner of a construction firm named Rohit Construction. Usha Chavan’s elder grandson Rohit KaduDeshmukh is also an entrepreneur & owns a private firm named "Uniseller" which is into trading and import export internationally.

Rohit KaduDeshmukh had acted in film Vajau Ka in his childhood as Usha Chavan's and Dada Kondke's son. The family also owes a banquet/wedding hall named ''Usha Palace'' at dhankawadi in Pune.
Usha also owns a film production house named ''Abhinay Chitra'' She has produced two movies namely Dharpakad and Gauracha Navra. The script writing of her third movie is in progress and will be out soon!

Usha Chavan is also the only Executor cum Trustee of Dada Kondke Trust and Properties which is more than 150 acres!


EARLY YEARS

Usha Chavan was born and brought up in Pune. Her family was engaged in loknatya and plays. Born into an artist family, Usha too developed the same stints. Her mother has acted with legendary actor Prithviraj Kapoor in many silent movies.

CAREER

She started her career as a side dancer. She made her career solely and reached to the top position in Marathi film industry only by her hard work and beauty. Though she was very popular actress in her active years but nowadays she is totally away from movies and dance performances.
Her films with Dada Kondke earned quick recognition among marathi film viewers. They acted in a series of hit movies as a lead pair.

Meeting was held on 15.08.2010 at 10.00 am with hon'ble Ajitdada Pawar and PMC commissioner at circuit house Pune, regarding completion certificate of "Usha Palace", waterline connection, and shifting of 5 slums which are in front of "Usha Palace" meeting was successful and assurance was given by PMC commissioner and hon'ble Ajitdada Pawar.

I have acted in more than 100 movies say about 110 (marathi , hindi, kannada , telegu)
out of this movies 70- 80 were hit films out of which some were silver and Golden jubilee hits
I have received many awards from various states of india more then 80-90 awards are to my credit , above images are some of them.

I came from a poor family who were engaged in lok natya and dramas, my mother had acted with Pruthviraj Kapoor in few of the sound less movies in 1950-60, other family members were also engaged in film industries , I came in movies in year 1970 , at that time all marathi films were based on village stories and every movies were having tamasha background therefore i had to play the character given by the producer of the film, i was very sincere with my work, i played many different role in various films like choravar mor , Ranphakara , shirdi ke saibaba , etc . Late Dada kondke and me were a popular pair , we gave many superhit films such as songadya , aali angavar , Ram Ram Gangaram , Pandu Havaldar , Ekta Jeev sadashiv and ganimi kava , vajavu ka and many more, which are still etched in everyone's memory, i still receive many call from cannada , U.S. and Japan people still watch over movies there and also are able to see them through satalite channels like Zee talkies etc, my fans are all over the world and many of them always e-mail me there views and always wish great success for me in my poor people well cause projects, now a days i am busy with my property matters dispute which is against Government of maharashtra who have given me assurance to resolve my dispute between them and me concern with our property at Dhankawadi, Pune, for which i have to received my share in terms of land / TDR etc , i am fighting for my rights for last 8 years and also at the same time fighting for the purpose of public interest who stay in our property about 1800 peoples, in this connection i have already submitted my proposal dated :- 13.08.2008 ( 2/2137) to PMC and in this matter Human rights commission had passed an order in my favour, still the PMC official had failed to implement the order properly , thus i have filed a appeal with application before Hon'l Chief minister Mr Ashok Chavan (former cultural minister) and asked him to give me justic as per the order of Human right commission dated:- 10.09.2008 (mumbai) there are 200 EWS properties in pune for which Government had gave 60% 40% and 85% 15% ratio as per Government order 1988 & 1997 , Law is common to all but as on today Government had failed to give me justice as in my case 70% 30% ratio was given to only few owners of our property , me and my son Hridaynath Kadu are still entitled for our rights and share in this property , As on today still the 7/12 extract showns our names as owners and kabjedar of the property, lets hope that the chief minister give me justice as earlier, as Government had already given me assurance on dated:- 16.02.2006 now 3 years had passed , i think atleast a well known actress like me must be given justice considering my affords and contribution to maharashtra state and india from last 35 years and also as per natural justice. thats all i can say , lets hope that the official in my matter will get well soon............... and give justice to a marathi artist like me. HAD PLACED 5 HUTS (SLUM) TO HARASS ME AND GRAB MONEY FROM ME AND ALSO MAIN REASON IS THAT THEY HAVE GIVEN FRAUD TDR OF 41,250 SQ FT AND TO PRESSURISE ME IN COLLUSION WITH BUILDER LOBBY THEY HAVE DONE THIS JOB FOR WHICH THEY MUST BE AWARDED, INSPITE OF THE ORDER BEEN PASSED BY HON'L CHIEF MINISTER MR VILASRAO DESHMUKH ON 13 FEB 2008 THAT ALL 5 HUTS WILL BE MOVED TO NEAR BY EWS 15% SCHEME, AND AS PER THIS ORDER 5 KEYS OF THE FLATS WERE HANDED OVER TO THE OFFICIALS THEN WHY THE SLUM IS STILL THERE INFRONT OF MY PLOT WHICH IS A OPEN SPACE AS PER PMC PLAN, WHERE AS THE REASON GIVEN BY GAVANI DEPARTMENT WAS THAT THOSE ARE UNDER TRANZIT CAMP, THEN NOW THERE IS CHIEF MINISTER ORDER , WHY IS PMC GAVANI DEPARTMENT WAITING FOR, WHY ARE THEY HARRASSING A ARTIST, THIS IS TOOOOOOOOO MUCH YAAR ...................

DADA KONDKE (book Ekta jeev) :- Dada kondke was a person with two faces one used to make people laugh and another used to make people cry , acutally his last wish was to marry me but when he found that this wish could not be fulfilled and this is not possible because i was not at all intrested in his money nor his property , because nobody can take money to " heaven or hell " so my decision was clear that money is zero before " God ", then after Dada Kondke might have decided to take revenge of this and wrote,"ekata jeev" so-called false biography of his own imagination, which is a fake and which became a worst nightmare of my life , this was a total false and a double meaning book in which imaginary material was been used with bad intention to defame many marathi film artists along with me, acutally Dada kondke did not wanted to published this book because his soul was not permiting him to do so, therefore once before his death he came to meet me at Balgandharva rang mandir and said Usha there is a women sitting in Shreyas hotel , Pune and writting my biography you can go and slap on her face, so that she will stop the writting work , unfortunatly after 1 year of Dada kondke's death this book was published with out taking any permmison from the trustee, as late Mr Gajajan Shirke one of the trustee was also death before this publication, but when he was alive he strictly annouced that nobody can publish any material without taking our permission as we are trustee and all the rights of late Dada kondke are with us, inspite of all this after the death of Mr Gajanan Shirke immediately this book was published without taking any permission from the remaining trustees, i believe in indian justice inspite it takes lot of time to get justice , but at last "satya meva jayate" i succeed to stop the publication of this book , as this book contain worst material regarding many marathi film artist; actresses and actors, i am a true "swabhimani" person and from the day the book was published i decided not to attend any single function of late Dada kondke, last 10 years some of the concern people close to dada kondke had harassed me in my personal property, they get evil happiness by doing so, but they forget that everybody has to pay for what they do, and "God " made me see all this before my eyes, all this rude people want me to be out of "Dada Kondka Trust" i believe in the invisible power whom we call " God " and he always helps me and made me win in each and every battle i fought against evil . in 2006 this book was totaly banned due to non-complying conditional order by the Hon'ble High court Justice Mr A.M. Khanwilkar saheb , thanks to the indian justice.
